At Kisandra Natural Beef our number one priority is to provide premium quality meat at affordable prices.
The concept of Kisandra Natural Beef began in late 2008. At Kisandra Natural Beef quality and value for money is what we aim to deliver. We have decided to focus on delivering the highest quality beef direct from our paddock to your plate. Being able to deal face to face with our customer allows us to experience the satisfaction of delivering quality products. Seeing customers satisfied with our product is a very fulfilling cycle.
Our Cattle – At Kisandra Natural Beef our vealers are sold off the cow at 10 – 12 months of age on the day they are processed. Our breeding females are Angus Friesian and Hereford Friesian cross cattle selected for their strong beef characteristics and their ability to produce copious amounts of milk for their calves.
All of our cattle are joined to Simmental Bulls. The Australian Simmental is characterised by:
- Rapid Weight Gain - First cross Simmental X British or Bos Indicus calves gain weight 10% to 20% faster, reaching market weight younger and earlier, reducing annual stocking pressure.
- High Carcase Yield - The leaner, highly muscled Simmental and Simmental cross animal produces higher yields of saleable beef.
- Quiet Temperament - Simmental cattle are extremely docile and easy to manage. This is most important in cattle management. Quieter cattle results in reduced stress during the production process
At Kisandra Natural Beef we use Webb Black Simmentals who use only elite genetics in their breeding programs. Black Simmentals are emerging as one of the leading beef breeds in the USA. They are now recognised as the fastest growing breed in popularity in the USA.
